Everybody has a beloved day of the week for watching shortsalepowerhour.com and for a lot of of us, that day is Mindset Monday. Today’s idea is based on the book Purple Cow, written by Seth Godin. Seth Godin is basically an idea exchanger, and a incredibly revolutionary thinker.

Seth notes that everyone has there own 5 p’s of marketing; product, pricing, promotion, publicity, positioning, packaging, pass along, and permission. These are all the guidelines of marketing that people use to get along. However, the new ‘p’ of marketing is the purple cow. While it is a cow resembling each other cow, it is remarkable because it is distinctive.

Group 46:10 has been able to stand out from their competition because of the remarkable consequences that they generate. While most short sale brokers are closing short sales with a 30-40% victory rate, Group 46:10 is managing to close short sales at an alarming rate of more than 90%. That is pretty miraculous because they have completed greater than 300 short sales in the previous 2 years.

This success rate did not just happen. It was premeditated starting with their mission statement, which is as follows…

Note that the mission statement doesn’t even refer to real estate. Real estate is merely the tool that they are using to turn out extraordinary results, influence people, and impact lives.
